The Great Estes Park Duck Race event has been designed to attract a large number of attendees. In addition, a live internet broadcast will be available to bring the excitement to remote attendees.
As a participating organization in this year’s race, you are encouraged to have a presence at the event, by taking advantage of one of these options:
- Exhibit in the Prize Zone – This area (next to the visitor’s center) encompasses the finish line and is expected to be a high traffic area. This is perhaps the best way to engage with your audience.
Each exhibitor must provide a tent and any needed signage or fixtures, as well as commit to be set up by 11:00am, and staffed until 4:00pm on race day.
- Present at a Table Within the Venue – similar to prior years, space has been allocated in various locations within the venue for organizations who desire a simple presence at the event. A single 8′ table and two chairs is provided. You will need to provide the people, decoration and resources as needed to communicate your message.
Assigned tables must be setup and staffed from 11am to 4pm.
- Participate In an Interview – Interviews (either pre-recorded or live on-camera) will be arranged for interested organizations. A single representative should be prepared to briefly share the nature of your mission. Pre-recorded interviews will be edited and aired on race day in the internet broadcast to remote attendees.
Live interviews will be conducted at specific times on race day. Pre-recorded interviews will be done in-person in a specific location, requiring approximately an hour of time.
- Attend & Work the Friday Night Reception – The Stanley hotel is hosting a ticketed event for duck adopters on Friday night before the race. A small number of tickets are available for distribution by the duck race team.
Any participating organization that attends will be representing the duck race as a whole – not their specific interests as an organization. This option requires a 2-3 hour time commitment.
