The committee overseeing the duck race has opened up invitations for non-profits and community organizations to participate in The Great Estes Park Duck Race of 2025.
To be eligible for participation in the duck race, organizations must directly benefit the Estes Valley community. Organizations and associations may either hold a valid 501c3 or 501c4 tax status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, or be deemed to benefit the local community as their primary mission.
Organizations that wish to participate must complete an online application and agree to the following:
- Earn at least $250 from duck adoptions in the 2025 race.
- Participate in the Organization Meet-up activity on race day
PLUS, each organization must do meet one or both of the following requirements in support of the 2025 race:
- Supply one or more volunteer workers to assist in the production of the race event
- Contribute as a sponsor the race at the major, event or community level.
Any organization participating in the 2025 race who fails to meet these requirements may be disqualified from participating in the next year’s race.
